Management of Small Impoundments Workshop
06/11-12/2025 – Jacksonville, IL
Organized by Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Illinois Natural History Survey staff
The purpose of this two-day, classroom and field demonstration workshop was to introduce participants (e.g., graduate students, early professionals, and district biologists) to the management of small impoundments. Topics covered included habitat and vegetation management, fish stocking and corrective fish stocking, and regulations with example case studies from Illinois. This workshop was led by IDNR personnel with small impoundment expertise.

ArcGIS Pro Workshop
02/27/2024 – Bloomington-Normal, IL
At the 62nd Annual Meeting

This workshop was aimed at introducing participants to ArcGIS Pro. Participants learned the differences between ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, and how to create field maps, generate random sampling points in ArcGIS Pro.
